PredictionProbe Released UNIPASS™ 5.4

PredictionProbe has announced on 10/12/04 the release of UNIPASSTM version 5.4, the newest version of its renowned probabilistic assessment software. UNIPASS™ V5.4 is fully validated and tested software that can be operated by a non-statistician using a desktop computer.

What are new in Version 5.4 Compared to Version 5.3?

The new features provided by Version 5.4 compared with Version 5.3 are summarized below:

  •  Allowed long printout in the Inverse Analysis.

  •  Removed bug in curvature matrix in SORM-Curvature fitting method when the non-related random variables are existed.

  •  Removed bug in curvature table in SORM-Point fitting method  when the non-related random variables are existed.

  •  Removed bug when Monte Carlo simulation with approximated 2nd order g-function in curvature fitting method.

  •  Removed bug when Monte Carlo simulation with approximated 2nd order g-function in point  fitting method.

  •  Solved the path problem on online HTML Help when UNIPASS was launched from the local directory PAS file.

  •  Solved the problem of inexistent UNIPASS.IN when launched UNIPASS solver.

  •  Improved the efficiency of Box-Behnken matrix for system problem.

  •  Improved the accuracy of Response Surface method by accounting the extra g-values evaluated in the origin of standard normal space.

  •  Allowed long printout in FORM/SORM and in Response Surface method.

  •  Added the input methods of random variable: defined the random variable distribution with max/min x value and COV.

  •  Added one more space between random variable name and tpd to avoid the mixing up in HTML output.

  •  Improved the accuracy of 3.00 to be the same as 3 in the Equation Definition Window.

  •  Removed the bug of animation in PDF/CDF graph (re-plot for changing parameters) in Variable Definition Window.

  •  Removed the bug in calculating the standard deviation of Weibull distribution when its distribution parameters were given.

  •  Removed the crash problem problem for re-plot in joint PDF for variables defined in correlation matrix.

  •  Removed the crash problem problem for re-plot in joint PDF for variable with hyper-parameter.

  •  Removed the AftMessageBox for button of OK and SAVE.

  •  Removed the resolution problem in Method Definition Window when Microsoft Windows was setup to be 120 DPI instead of 96 DPI.

  •   Removed the bug caused in radio button in Disclaimer Window.

  •  Added UNIFACE program to UNIPASS.

  •  Re-defined the License Key Window.
