redictionProbe Released UNIPASS™ 5.6

PredictionProbe has announced on 4/1/2006 the release of UNIPASSTM version 5.6, the newest version of its renowned probabilistic assessment software. UNIPASS™ V5.5 is fully validated and tested software that can be operated by a non-statistician using a desktop computer.

 

What are new in Version 5.62 (5/20/2006)?

  •  Removed the bug of failure to display the initial value of random variable in the
    Variable Definition Window when UNIPASS.IN was imported to analyzed the problem.

  •  Added the capability of central difference scheme for derivative calculation of limit
    state function.

  •  Added the tracking capability in the derivative calculation of limit state function
    for both forward difference and central difference schemes to minimize the number
    of limit state function calls.

     

What are new in Version 5.61 (5/2/2006)?

 

  •  Add the Network Key Re-connection icon in UNIPASS Main Window so that users can reconnect
    the network key once the license has been released by Sentinel Protection Server.

  •  Prevented UNIPASS crushing for opening a un-existing file in the Recent Open File
    List of the File drop down menu.

  •  Updated the UNIPASS Software License Agreement in the On-Line Help File.

  •  Added a Read Me file that described the detail procedure fto install UNIPASS for
    both stand-alone and network license key.

What are new in Version 5.6 (4/1/2006)?

  •  Removed the bug caused incorrect K value when removed the cut set and then added
    a new cut set for the parallel system problems.

  •  Correct the result of Cancel button in the Minimum Cut Set Definition window that
    used to have the action as OK button.

  •  Added the warning message of not selecting the g-functions from the list of Function
    Names for the Add and Update buttons in the Minimum Cut Set Definition Window.

  •  Printed out values of random functions in each selected g-function calculation in
    the external output file, VARS.SAV.

  •  Added the capability to remove the highlighted minimum cut set for the Add button
    in Function Definition Window.

  •  Added a Clear button in the Cut Set Definition window.

  •  Added capability to import Excel XML file for the Variable and Function Definition.

  •  Removed the bug for the displaying the individual g function values in the CDF/PDF
    analysis in Probability Analysis Input Data Window.

  •  Added a right-click pop up menu of Paste, Import from file, Copy, and Cut for the
    Rich Edit Box in Function Definition Window.

  •  Added a right-click pop up menu of Paste, Copy, and Cut for the Rich Edit Box in
    Parametric File Editor.

  •  Added capability to read the multi security key with same Developer ID.

  •  Changed the group name to numerical number starting from 1 for the problem with "Import
    UNIPASS.IN" and "Import Excel XML File".

  •  Limited the range of random variables in the Update Plot capability of Joint PDF
    plot of dependent variables defined by coefficient of correlation.

  •  Limited the range of random variables in the Update Plot capability of Joint PDF
    plot of hyper parametric distributions.

  •  Deleted system.par at the end of the execution of pass99_2.exe.

  •  Verified all the Accelerators (e.g., Ctrl+X for "Import Excel XML File").

  •  Removed a bug to display the individual g, Pf, and reliability index in the "Probability
    Analysis Input Data" window for PDF/CDF Analysis.

  •  Rerouted the procedure for Import UNIPASS.IN File so that the save button will not
    create double size of random variables and functions.

  •  Added the Find capability in the Generic External Interface.

  •  Added the Find capability in the Function Definition Window.

  •  Added "Add New Response Function" in addition to "Insert Before New Response Function"
    in the right click pop up menu of EXTERNAL function in Generic External Interface
    Window.

  •  Added "Browse for Executable File" in addition to "Browse for Full Path of Executable.."
    in the right click pop up menu of the Command Line oin Generic External Interface
    Window.

  •  Added "Add Keyword Node" in addition to " Insert Before Keyword Node" in the right
    clcik pop up menu of Keyword in Generic External Interface Window.

  •  Added "Add Location Node" in addition to "Insert before Location Node" in the right
    click pop up menu of Keyword in Generic External Interface.

  •  Prevented crashing in the Generic External Interface window when users selected the
    "Create new function from selection" in the right click pop up menu of Rich Edit
    Box without loading a output file.

  •  Enabled to save the probability or reliability index even no carry return in the
    text edit box in the Analysis Data Window for the Inverse Probabilistic Analysis.

  •  Removed the extra edit box of print interval when the Short printout option was selected
    in the Inverse Probabilistic Analysis using Monte Carlo simulation method.
